L&C Announces New Venture Competition

Does your student have an idea for an innovative nonprofit organization, social venture, or for-profit enterprise? Student teams will develop business plans with the support of entrepreneurs and faculty mentors, attend workshops to learn how to develop and launch their ventures, and request a budget to kick-start their planning efforts. Applications are due February 11. Encourage your student to apply.

Now, student Remy Neymarc has focused his lens on L&C’s inspiring campus vistas and Portland’s landmark locations, giving a sense of what makes Lewis & Clark a dynamic place to live and learn in this two-minute video.

Recent Alumnae Share Fulbright Experiences

Lewis & Clark is one of the top producers of Fulbright award winners in the country, with the third-highest acceptance rate among liberal arts colleges. One of these scholars, Hilary Cline B.A. ’12, is teaching English conversation and intercultural communication classes at Yugra State University, one of Russia’s newest colleges. Pioneer Athletics and The Value of Sport

“Lewis & Clark coaches stress academics first, then athletics. New Grant Supports Student-Faculty Research

A new $700,000 grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation will provide funds to help faculty infuse collaborative research into a broad range of new and existing courses, and will support an increased number of student-faculty summer research projects. Read more about the grant.
