Happy Monday, Students!

We have three weekly testing clinics remaining: tomorrow, April 6, and again the following two Tuesdays. In place of a weekly clinic on Tuesday, April 27, we will be standing up an optional exit-testing clinic for students interested in having a test result ahead of traveling. More information, and signups, will be posted soon.

The community continues to show commendable adherence to public health practices, as evidenced by our testing results:

  • COVID-19 cases: For the month of March, of the 1,887 tests conducted on campus, there was only one positive test, a positivity rate of 0.05 percent.
  • Effluent testing results: Residence hall effluent testing results for last week showed negative (non-detect) results across all testing locations and samples.
  • Vaccine update: Last week, the College brokered an agreement with a vaccine provider to administer vaccine doses to employees and eligible student employees on Saturday, April 10. If the state provides the college with vaccine, we will be able to arrange a similar vaccine clinic for all students soon after all students become eligible for vaccine (currently May 1). We will be sharing a longer message specific to this issue soon, so please watch for that information.

Thank you for all you are doing to stay healthy, and take care of yourselves and each other.

As always, WeB4Me@LC.
